Yeah, that Les Paul is cool! And the White Falcon (on MMS) was cool. From that sale around 2002/2003 I think the Zemaitis he used for a long time was for sale.
From what I've picked up, it has seemed as if he has been using a lot more different guitars in the last couple of years compared to before. Possibly there are some, that maybe were not stored in that warehouse, that have been used for a long time that are just retired from touring to keep them in good shape.
: You know even with the irreparable damage some of Rich's guitars sustained in the flooding from Sandy, whichever ones he didn't attempt to have saved would in all likelihood still hold high value to collectors and Crowes fans. I don't know if he's already parted ways with any or many of them that are mucked to hell, but it'd be cool to see one or two of them auctioned off or given away in a contest/drawing of some kind, maybe next year when he goes out on one of his own tours. I can think of about six of 'em that would be like gold to some folks.
: : : For a guitar nerd (like me) it is painful to watch and imagine cases of guitar in a flooded warehouse...

: : Agreed, not sure if you caught it but he mentioned that lots of other bands had spaces next door in the same warehouse and that everyones equipment got messed up. I would imagine some had insurance, some maybe didn't?
: : Guessing the Crowes were covered, or were they...correct me if I'm wrong but they would have had to specifically had flood insurance I believe? I'm not sure.
: : Just looking at the thousands upon thousands of dollars worth of guitars in this video alone you can imagine what that warehouse holds/held.
