...and while I wouldn't be shocked if this really was the end, I also wouldn't be shocked if at some point - five, 10, 15 years, who knows? - they (though likely just Chris, Rich and some hired hands) got back together, if only to play some gigs and make money. I mean, while the first two where officially hiatuses (hiati?), they still disbanded for a few years in '01 and '10 so whatever.
I saw 46 (mostly) great shows over 24 years, including the perhaps final one, and have a lot of great records and live shows, so overall a ton of pleasure from my second-favorite band.
Just sad that I never got to hear "Diamond Ring" live...
