What's up fellas.
I'm on Chapter 34.
Listening via audiobook, so every time Steve is pissed, which is half the book, you can hear it in his voice still, probably half acting it out for the recording, and half still raw nerves from the memory of it.
It gives me a sense that Steve must have been hard to live around at times as well, not as much as Chris, but Steve does have his own issues.
The part where Pete recommended Steve get help for "co-dependency" was 100% spot on, as I had been thinking the same right up until that part of the book, props to Steve for admitting that.
Marc seems as chill as you thought he was, and side note, I am actually surprised how little Marc is mentioned.
The first part of the book was becoming famous and putting up with Chris and Rich's bullshit. Then making a second album, a new guy named Marc joined, and then all the Chris and Rich bullshit that followed that.
Matter of fact, the whole book is very detailed about the brothers and just occasionally a mention of the other band members.
I don't personally know Marc, and I feel like I still have as much insight into Marc as a person, as I did before this book, which is none.
Verdict is still out for me though, I can't finish it fast enough.
Interested to hear everyone else's thoughts.
