Is there even an unmet need out there among the general public right now for more "Black Crowes" content? Are there really tens of thousands of people sitting around wishing they could throw money at a setlist that includes She Talks to Angels" and "Go Faster"?

I don't know how big the venues were they played, nor how full they were, but I think "As The Crow Flies" did decent business, so something called the "Black Crowes" will, I think do well enough to make them money. I had friends, who play guitar and know music but are at best casual fans, who went to ATCF and thought it was great.

No, I don't think it will be great, and yes, it could fall apart in weeks, especially without Pete or Steve or any voice of reason, but I think there is for sure an audience. There are what, a few hundred of us, spread across the country, who give a shit if Marc Ford is playing lead guitar?

Live Nation is what it is, but they're a machine that wants to make money, so if they're doing this, they're doing it because they will make money. And so will Axl and Tom Fogarty/David Knopfler/"Riff" Robinson.
