It's going to be fascinating to see if CR can "behave." I would imagine that Live Nation/his management told him "If you can just shut up, keep your shit together and play these 48 dates without opening your yap, you're stand to make some decent money. Stick to the script and just play."

We all know that if this is the case, it's the core of the dramatic tension with this thing and the most interesting thing about what's happening for the next few months. Corporate Chris is something we have never really seen. How long can he last?


: We'll see how things go once Chris starts being Chris and Rich starts being Rich. Even if they can write off the contributions by the former members of the band, they'll still have live performance expectations that will need to be matched.

: I'm at least pleased that they may have assembled a good group of musicians who'll do justice to the music they are covering. But I'd caution anyone who'll expect this to be a stable lineup past next summer's tour (or even leading up to the tour). If the brothers are myopic enough to think they are the only true Crowes, then these guys are just hired guns that can be replaced at the drop of a roach.
