That is pretty cheap, for how the guitar looks. I guess its just the cheaper wood and hardware. I don't keep up with it as much as I used to but last I heard Gibson had kind of fallen off in comparison to Fender, and they are now trying revive it.

Don't quote me on that. But if you look at Fender with their Custom Shop guitars, re-issues, variety of models, the new line where they blend guitar models called "parallel universe" series, I can imagine its hard for Gibson to keep up when their whole line mostly consists of a few staple models.

: I always kinda liked that one too, even if not a huge fan of white, and would always get it mixed up with the Coronet. They look so similar, but yeah, he seemingly used that a lot in '95 it appeared, and a little in '96, if memory serves.

: The price seems a little low, though. I wonder how Gibson manages the Epiphone line, assuming that line is built overseas, which isn't necessarily bad these days. IMO, it comes down to the company's quality control in Korea or even China like with a company like Guild which is owned by Fender now. They make some sweet ass guitars for the money out of Korea that you'd never know were built there, IMO.

: Mexico is another matter.
